QA/QC Engineer

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of QA/QC Engineer in Malaysia. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily QA/QC inspection activities with inspectors and subcontractors.
  
• Manage quality -related communication with consultants, inspectors, and client representatives.
  
• Review inspection reports and ensure timely documentation submission.
  
• Conduct material, fabrication, welding, painting, and final delivery inspections.
  
• Monitor NCR and QOR reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  
• Maintain project quality records, WQT, FQT, WPS, and PQP documentation.
  
• Participate in client quality meetings and internal quality reviews.
  
• Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with project standards.
  

Required Skills

1. Quality Assurance & Quality Control – Managing quality systems and inspections.
   
2. Welding Inspection – Reviewing welding processes and compliance.
   
3. Fabrication Inspection – Ensuring fabrication meets project specifications.
   
4. NCR & QOR Management – Tracking non -conformance and corrective actions.
   
5. Documentation & Reporting – Maintaining inspection and quality records.

Work Experience Requirements

Experience requirements were not specified in the JD. Typical experience for a QA/QC Engineer in engineering/manufacturing environments is 3–8 years, including exposure to fabrication, welding, inspection, quality documentation, and audit processes.

Education

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Typical)
  
• Preferred: Master's Degree or Quality -related specialization (Typical)
  
• Additional Certifications: CSWIP, AWS, NDT, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (Typical)
