R&D Engineer (Mechatronics)

Job Description

• Design and Development: Create and maintain mechanical systems and components, integrating them with electronic systems to optimize instrument functionality.
• Test: Develop test plan and perform testing with the prototypes, ensuring they meet design specifications and performance standards.
• Collaboration: Work with other engineers and professionals to improve the reliability and performance of instruments and systems.
• Documentation: Write detailed reports on project outcomes and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
• Technical Skills: Advanced skills in CAD software; specific experience with Siemens NX and/ or Mentor Graphics is highly preferred.
• Standards: Familiarity with medical device development, ISO 13485 QMS and IVDR standards is a significant advantage.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and creative thinking skills to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
