Sea Freight Manager (Logistics Provider)

• Key person to source and procure competitive container/breakbulk vessels’ freight rates & space availability.
  
• Able to support active freight sourcing enquiries from sales force of about 10 personnel.
  
• Responsible to maintain up -to -date internal Freight rates database (buying & selling rates) and suggest freighting options/solutions based on all type of INCO terms, including freighting solutions for triangle shipments or import/export from any ports in the world especially Intra -Asia & Southeast Asia ports.
  
• Support Sales SM & CEO in gathering data & research on Importers/Exporters for various trade lanes, identify interested parties and stakeholders in both local & international freight market.
  

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in International Business/Maritime/Logistics or equivalent.
  
• Working experience in Sea Freight sourcing or works as Operation/Customer Service role in Sea Freight
  
• Division of a logistics company.
  
• Resourceful, have good contacts/network with shipping industry including Liners, NVOCC and overseas agents.
  
• Ambitious, passionate on freighting & logistics business development.
  
• Excellent communication & people skill. Able to work closely with Sales & Operations team in fulfilling customers’ requirements or offering logistics solutions.
  
• IT Savvy, like to explore IT technology, embrace and embed technology & digitalization into daily work life
