Job Summary:

onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Global Reliability Lab team. As a Senior Engineer or Section Head,  to manage  and lead the Test Operation in the Reliability Lab and driving the  team to achieve the department goals including On Time Delivery and JEDEC Testing Window compliance . He or She will be responsible to provide  Engineering judgement & disposition on Test Engineering  matters on Electrical testers ( Semiconductor Testers ) &  Product Testing ( Semiconductor Components) 

Performance Objectives

• Manage and  Lead Test Operation of Reliability Lab consisting of Operators & Technicians


• Drive the team  to  meet  On Time delivery of  Material que for Electrical Test including JEDEC Test  Window compliance 


• To provide Engineering  Judgement  & disposition on Test Engineering  matters on Product  & Testing


• To  work with  BU Product  and Test Eng including Lab Eng Operation  on new products Testing hardware and testing setup

  Manage/Lead/Motivate the Test Operation ( Technician /Operators) work force in the lab

  To promote quality awareness within the organization.



• 
  

  To drive quality improvement programs in the assigned area ( Test Area) of responsibilities.



• 
  

  Drive quality system improvement towards Proactive, Anticipative & Preventive cultures.



• 
  

  To drive and meet OTD goal, JEDEC test window  & other assigned  Goals 



• 
  

  To maintain an effective quality audit, appraisal and reporting system such that deficiencies are reported back to those responsible for immediate corrective actions and Continuous Improvements.



• 
  

  Act as key interface for Rel Lab between Rel Engineering and Requestors of the Reliability requests and work  closely with Manufacturing on Tester Requests / bookings. 



• 
  

  To interface & coordinate with various Lab organization (i.e Test engineering, equipment, Motherboard Area etc.)  in resolving  lab induced Quality problems from Test Operation,  Lab customer complaints and audit failures and follow up on implementation of corrective actions thru MPE or equivalent process



• 
  

  Consistently review and gearing the lab to ensure compliance to Lab Specs, TS16949 Quality System , calibration requirements etc.



• 
  

  To initiate, investigation and respond to Lab induced Qualification failure (Specific to Test Operation) on a timely basis. 



• 
  

  To monitor regularly that all Reliability Requests are moving per the committed cycle-time at Electrical Testing  process of the Reliability plans/requests pending for Electrical Test including compliance to JEDEC Test Window or equivalent 



• 
  

  To work with  BU Product  and Test Eng including Lab Eng Operation  on new products Testing hardware and testing setup



• 
  

  Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• BS, Engineering Degree ( preferred in Electrical & Electronics )or equivalent )


• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.  


• Experience in areas of managing, supervisory in Lab environment (specific to Test Engineering is preferred)


• Knowledge or experience in  Product Eng , Production Testing of Semiconductor  Product  on ETS, Powertech, DTS tester platforms will be advantageous.
