Senior Automation Tester, APAC

The Opportunity:

As the Automation tester you will have responsibility to set up test automation framework as well as to design and script automated test.

You will have a chance to be part of Zurich Edge that is building Insurance Platform to enable new distribution models. Insurance offerings on this platform will be specifically designed for high levels of automation and straight through processing across the full insurance value chain.

Key Responsibilities: 

•    Set up test automation framework
•    Design and script automation test using test data management and reusability principles
•    Engage with Business Analysts to understand business requirements
•    Generate test report or dashboard for automation test execution
•    Ensure that defects are analysed and communicated with Business Analysts and
•    Development team for resolution

Your skills and experience:
•    7+ years of prior experience as an Automation Tester
•    4+ years of prior experience with Selenium Webdriver (Java)
•    Experience in Java programming
•    3+ years of prior experience with API Automated testing via user interfaces and APIs / RestAssured
•    Experience in using BrowserStack, Postman and JMeter preferred
•    Experience in Insurance is preferred
•    Experience in database querying (preferred)    
•    Recent experience in Agile delivery (highly regarded)

Skills: 
•    Understanding of IT project delivery and agile /DevOps methodologies
•    Strong test automation design skills
•    JIRA skills
•    Attention to details
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Ability to understand business requirements in detail
•    Ability to work across diverse Asian culture
