ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT
1. Provide basic nursing care and patient safety that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital.

9. Standby for call duty during off-duty hours for tasks such as procuring blood and blood products from the blood bank.
10. Maintains and stocks first aid boxes, promptly responds to emergencies, fetches patients from home or accident sites when instructed, and prioritizes patient safety during transport.
11. Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, ensuring vehicle readiness by checking gas, oil, water levels, oil pressure, gasoline, water in the battery and radiator, and tire pressure.
12. Provide the availability of wheelchairs and trolleys for immediate use at the service front, act as dispatch personnel when needed, and replenish supplies and disposable items on ambulances.
13. Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle, performing minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
14. Verifies the availability of sufficient oxygen cylinders for unit use and maintains accurate records.
Manage clients at Accident & Emergency Services, demonstrating courtesy and empathy during their journey to and from the hospital.
HUMAN RESOURCE AND DEVELOPMENT
1. Proactive in own learning and development, and to meet the minimum requirement of 20 hours of continuing education per year.
2. Involve orienting new staff members to the ward routines and being flexible and adaptable to any new service that is implemented.
3. Maintain a record of personal leave and training attendance.
4. Adheres to the assigned duty roster, ensures the smooth operation of the ambulance service, and stays updated on driver safety and first aid practices through regular classes.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
1. Adheres to the hospital policies and procedures and nursing code of conduct.
2. Maintain confidentiality of the patient’s personal and medical history.
3. Ensure adherence with Prevention and Control of Infection.
4. Report facts concerning accidents or emergencies to hospital personnel or law enforcement officials.
5. Comply with local traffic regulations
FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
1. Maintain ambulance vehicles undergoing regular service schedule and in good condition.
2. Check regularly that all equipment in the ambulance is in good condition and report to UM for necessary action accordingly when faulty.
3. Record the latest mileage of all company vehicles in the vehicle log book.
4. Perform daily inspections to ensure that vehicles are maintained in a clean state and are always ready for use.
5. Conduct daily checks to ensure the medical gas and medical equipment are functioning optimally.
6. Manage the ambulance service at the correct time.
SAFETY AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES
1. Participate in new services, comply with 5S activities, and patient safety policies, and adhere to ISO, MSQH, JCI, PSG, BFHI, and NNA, and ensure comply with patient safety goals and occupational safety measures.
2. Adhere to the Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994, take reasonable care at work, cooperate with employers, wear proper PPE, and follow all safety and health instructions and measures.
