Senior Executive Customer Account Management (FMCG, Pharmacy channel))

About The Role

The Senior Executive, Customer Account Management is responsible for managing and growing assigned key accounts to drive sales performance and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction within DKSH's Consumer Goods division in Malaysia. This role contributes to DKSH's commercial success by building strong client relationships, executing account strategies, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery of customer solutions.

What You Will Deliver

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, building trust and maintaining a consistently high standard of client engagement


• Conduct quarterly business reviews to evaluate account performance, identify gaps, and develop clear and actionable recommendations for improvement


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a thorough understanding of client requirements and ensure their needs are effectively addressed


• Drive the achievement of sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts, maintaining consistent commercial momentum


• Develop and implement structured account plans to unlock sales growth opportunities and maximize revenue potential within assigned accounts


• Negotiate pricing and execute promotional plans for assigned key accounts to drive demand and strengthen competitive positioning


• Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure the seamless execution of customer strategies


• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address client issues promptly and deliver effective, well-structured solutions


• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field


• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role. Key Account experience in Pharmacy account will be an added advantage. 


• Basic knowledge and understanding of the industry, market, competitors, and customers. FMCG / Pharmacy experience is a MUST.


• Basic knowledge of assigned products and services with a sound commercial mindset


• Proven ability to manage and grow key accounts


• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse stakeholders


• Basic analytical skills with the ability to interpret account data and identify opportunities


• Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


• Fluency in the local language and, ideally, in English, both written and spoken. Able to converse in Chinese is an added advantage, as you will be liaising with Chinese speaking customer.
