We are looking for a Senior Legal Executive to provide legal and compliance advice and to partner the business to provide solutions to issues while managing legal and compliance risks. Ensure compliance/provide support to all quality related activities identified in the NQMS Process Descriptions and Support Process Descriptions. And to ensure compliance/provide support to all OHS related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
  Provide prompt and effective legal support to the Director, Legal & Compliance to enable timely and practical advice to the business.
  
  


• 
  
  Serve as the day-to-day legal business partner for assigned business units/functions and act as the subject matter expert for designated compliance topics and initiatives.
  
  


• 
  
  Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal documents, correspondence, training materials, promotional campaigns, contests, artwork, and intellectual property-related matters for assigned business functions.
  
  


• 
  
  Monitor legal and regulatory developments and review policies, templates, and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and company standards.
  
  


• 
  
  Conduct legal research and provide accurate, practical legal advice while maintaining effective contract management processes and systems.
  
  


• 
  
  Review and advise on intellectual property matters, including trademark, copyright, and brand protection issues, and manage access to intellectual property databases.
  
  


• 
  
  Lead and manage legal and compliance projects independently to achieve business objectives and desired outcomes.
  
  


• 
  
  Develop and deliver legal and compliance training programs to enhance employee awareness and promote adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  
  


• 
  
  Support the resolution of consumer complaints, disputes, and other legal matters in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  
  


• 
  
  Partner with cross-functional teams to identify legal and compliance risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  
  

We're Looking For:

• 
  
  Qualified lawyer with a valid admission to the Bar
  
  


• 
  
  Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification legal experience, preferably in an in-house legal environment
  
  


• 
  
  Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements
  
  


• 
  
  Broad legal expertise across commercial, compliance, regulatory, and risk management matters
  
  


• 
  
  Experience supporting consumer-facing (B2C) businesses and managing related legal and compliance obligations.Exposure to key legal areas including:

• Open to candidates from private practice/law firms with strong commercial advisory and contract management experience.
