Position Summary
Lead and manage Company’s piping construction activities across AWS project sites, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-schedule execution. Coordinate with AWS, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve site issues, optimize resources, monitor progress, and support reporting, planning, risk management, and project close-out.
Main objectives
• Lead and manage all Company’s construction activities across the AWS project sites.
• Ensure project execution is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Act as the primary construction focal point between Company, AWS, General Contractor, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress and implement recovery actions where necessary to maintain schedule commitments.
• Ensure compliance with Company’s Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Management Systems and AWS site requirements.
• Drive productivity, quality, and safety performance across all assigned project sites.
• Support project reporting, forecasting, risk management, and project close-out activities.
Main Task
1. Manage and coordinate construction execution across all AWS project sites to achieve project milestones, safety targets, and quality requirements.
2. Lead Construction Engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure efficient resource utilization and productivity.
3. Coordinate with AWS, General Contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve site issues and maintain progress.
4. Monitor project schedules, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and construction performance; implement corrective actions where required.
5. Prepare progress reports, attend management meetings, and support project planning, forecasting, and risk mitigation activities.
6. Assist in various ad-hoc project requirements assigned by Project Manager.
Job requirement:
1. Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of piping /mechanical construction experience with at least 1–2 years in a senior site engineering or site leadership role.
3. Experience managing multi-site industrial, infrastructure, utility, or data center projects.
4. Strong leadership and people management skills.
5. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
6. Strong planning, scheduling, and project coordination capabilities.
7. Strong knowledge of piping construction and installation methodologies, site execution, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and project reporting tools.
9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
10. Fluent in written and spoken English.
