Senior Test Manager 

Role Description:

 Manages all phases of testing, including plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables and  audit ability for global eCom systems.

 This includes the following areas (not comprehensive):

o Functional Testing

o Integration Testing

o Supportability Testing

o Device, browser testing

o Usability / UX experience Verification

o Performance testing (load, capacity, endurance)

o Technical acceptance testing (Load balancing, failover, disaster recovery, DB replication)

o Security testing (Fortify scan, penetration)

o Acceptance testing

o Installation testing

o Test automation

 Manages stakeholder relationship with respect to all testing aspects

 Defines project testing standards for all phases, influencing all parties to conform to those standards.

 Create, obtain approval of and maintain the master test plan

 Defines and communicates test strategy for eCom projects.

 Execute the master test plan within time and budget

 Takes responsibility for integrity of testing and acceptance activities and coordinates the execution

 Assesses and manages suppliers' development and testing capabilities

 Makes sure test process of eCom projects are supported by state-of-the art tools in according to Organization's testing standards

 Execute test process optimization to use the best test process for eCOM projects.

Skills & Requirement:

 Extremely strong experience (10 - 15 years) of testing and test management (static and dynamic)

 State-of-the-art knowledge of testing technologies, processes, and practices

 Wide Experience with test tools like HP Quality Centre/ALM, Rational Quality Manager, Load Runner,  QTP, Selenium,

 Test certification ISEB / ISTQB

 Experience in estimation methods and conceptual thinking

 Strong in customer focus (service, relationship and quality)

 Strong in project management

• Graduate/BS in Computer Science, MIS, business or equivalent education/training/experience 
• Experience of reporting tools / reports testing - Quality Center, advanced SQL usage  
• Developing and executing quality assurance test scripts, tests plans and checklists 
• Application of software development life cycle concepts 
• Experience in Mainframes (TSO /ISPF), DB2 Fileaid, working knowledge of XML 
• Experience in UNIX is a plus
• Understanding of software testing concepts
