## The group you\u2019ll be a part of\n\nGlobal Operations bring information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations.\n\nWe help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam\u0027s business.\n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAs SET Factory Support Engineer, you manage Supplier Quality escalations that impact factory operations.\n\nYou lead cross\u2011functional response efforts to resolve problems effectively by evaluating risk to manufacturing build completion and customer shipment commitments, driving alignment on containment actions across the plant or companywide.\n\nIn this role, you drive material recovery plans to secure corrective or replacement parts from suppliers, ensuring minimal disruption to production flow and delivery timelines.\n\nThrough strong technical judgment, clear communication, and a solutions-focused mindset, you help maintain manufacturing stability, safeguard product quality, and support on\u2011time customer fulfillment.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Act as primary contact to support factory escalation from Lam factories.\n * Review critical part quality issues \u0026 provide appropriate response/action plan.\n * Initiate immediate containment action plan \u0026 provide timely response to all relevant stakeholders (SE, SBM, Buyer, SCM, SCFS, MQA).\n * Develop recovery action plan to prevent disruption to Manufacturing \u0026/or delay to tool shipment; support Supplier Rework/Inspection at Lam factories.\n * Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, SET and Supply Chain teams to mitigate operational and supply chain risks.\n * Improve Product Quality and ensure Factory Output through systematic problem\u2011solving and proactive driven initiatives.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Engineering Degree or equivalent (Mechanical/Electrical/Science).\n * 5+ years of industrial experience in Manufacturing Engineering/Operation/Quality Assurance, preferably in Semiconductor Industry.\n * Possess good understanding of equipment and manufacturing processes.\n * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong leadership presence and the ability to influence through data.\n * Exhibit attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.\n * Work with cross-functional teams across multiple departments to achieve goals.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Strong working knowledge of manufacturing operations, including hands-on experience in processes such as machining, molding, stamping, PCB assembly, electronics, welding, casting, plating, coatings, or other relevant processes.\n * Demonstrated competence in structured, data\u2011driven problem solving.\n * Capable of interpreting Engineering drawings, GD\u0026T (Geometric Dimensioning \u0026 Tolerancing) and material specifications.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
