Software Developer Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Strengthen the technical leadership within the
  development team.
• Improve project delivery, code quality, and technical
  decision-making.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and reduce
  dependency on existing senior resources.
• Better support the increasing complexity and number of
  ongoing projects.
• Lead and guide developers in technical implementation,
  solution design, and problem-solving.
• Manage project timelines, track development progress,
  and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Drive code quality through code reviews, best practices,
  and development standards.
• Provide mentorship, knowledge sharing, and guidance to
  improve team capability.
• Encourage effective use of AI tools to improve
  development productivity, code quality, and problem
  solving efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and
  drive continuous enhancement of development
  practices and workflows.
• Support technical decision-making and ensure scalable,
  maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful
  delivery of projects with high quality and stability.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional
  Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate
  Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science, IT or
  equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software
  development, web application development, or related
  programming roles.
• Experience in leading a development team, providing
  technical guidance, reviewing code, and coordinating
  development activities is an added advantage.
• Experience in managing software development lifecycle
  (SDLC), from requirement analysis, design, development,
  testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience in handling project delivery, task
  prioritization, technical planning, and resolving
  development challenges.
• Experience in using AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, debugging, documentation, and software development practices is an advantage.
• Strong programming skills in PHP, Laravel, React, React
  Native, mobile application development, HTML,
  JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, and modern web development
  practices.
• Proficient in web and mobile application development,
  database design, SQL development, and optimization
  using MS SQL, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL, with
  experience in REST API development and system
  integration.
• Familiar with Git, software development tools, coding
  standards, and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, perform root
  cause analysis and solve complex technical problems.
• Experience using AI development tools to enhance
  coding productivity, software quality, and development
  efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills, fast learner, adaptable to new
  technologies, and passionate about software
  engineering.
