Specialist Technical Sales

About the Role

The Specialist, Technical Sales identifies and develops customer relationships within the Semiconductor and Electronics business line of DKSH's Technology business unit, covering the Penang, Kedah, and Perlis territories. This role drives business growth by combining technical expertise with strategic sales execution to deliver tailored solutions that meet current and future customer requirements.

 What You Will Deliver

• Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing strong personal rapport with potential and existing customers and key stakeholders who influence purchasing decisions


• Provide technical and engineering information on products, services, and equipment by responding professionally and accurately to customer questions and requests


• Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers, and plan and organize an effective sales call schedule to maximize territory coverage and business development opportunities


• Prepare strategic sales plans for assigned territories and gain customer acceptance through professional and technically sound equipment demonstrations and presentations


• Follow up on open-term invoices to ensure timely payment collection and maintain healthy accounts receivable


• Prepare sales activity reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and application trends to support business visibility and planning


• Update all customer information and communication activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records


• Contribute to team objectives by delivering results aligned with business priorities and broader organizational goals 

 What You Bring

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline


• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a technical sales environment


• Strong technical aptitude combined with proven sales capability, with the ability to translate complex product and engineering information into clear, compelling customer value propositions
