Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Staff Quality Engineer.  

Job Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for Product Quality health monitoring of Vishay Production Assembly & Test at Subcon

• Drive Quality improvement project to support Quality KPI such as CCAR, 8D CT, Yield, Hold Lot Rate and Disposition Cycle Time

• Analyze customer complaints and field reports, and devise methods of verifying or disproving the existence of such problems in outgoing products.

• Conduct Quality System and Process Audits, to determine its adequacy in meeting quality requirements.

• Monitor and report progress in the implementation of solutions to quality problems, and measures their effectiveness.

• Review and establish Product Quality Baseline specifications & procedures

• Manage the control, maintenance, use, and disposition of records and documents.

• Work with Subcons in analyzing process and quality issues.  Review corrective actions for effectiveness and ensure they are implemented and fanned out as needed.

• Evaluate Subcon/supplier quality performance capability and develop criteria for quality performance rating.

• Reporting to the Quality Manager

What you will bring along:

• Min 5 years in Quality Engineering hand-on experience on Power Discrete and/or Power Management IC, strong background MOSFET Product FA and Reliability are highly preferred.

• Certified VDA6.3 and TS/ISO 16949 Auditor is a plus

• Proficiency in English Language, Problem Solving, communication & presentation skill

• Works efficiently under pressure

• Be able to make overseas trip by request.

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
