Team Member, Corp Agency, Compliance & Risk

About the Role

We are seeking a Team Member, Corporate Agency (Compliance & Risk) to support the Head of Corporate Agency, Risk & Compliance in managing syndicated banking facilities for Corporate Banking clients. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth operational execution, compliance, and effective coordination across internal and external stakeholders within syndication transactions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support the Head of Corporate Agency, Risk & Compliance in managing corporate banking syndicated facilities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of syndication transactions, including drawdowns, fund transfers, and issuance of securities.
• Coordinate with syndicate banks/financiers to facilitate timely disbursement of facilities.
• Manage relationships with customers, financial institutions, solicitors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow movements in designated accounts to ensure compliance with agreed terms and waterfall structures.
• Ensure timely servicing of clients’ financing obligations under syndication and securities programmes.
• Track and monitor facility covenants, representations, and warranties to mitigate credit and financial risks.
• Prepare and coordinate information for submission to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and external auditors.
• Support internal IT projects, system enhancements, and product testing related to corporate banking operations.
• Act as Security Agent and support other agency services for bilateral and syndicated facilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in corporate banking, syndication, credit administration, or related banking operations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of syndicated lending structures and operational workflows.
• Good knowledge of compliance, risk management, and banking regulations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across internal and external parties.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in banking systems and Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
