As a Associate - Business Analyst in the Insurance industry, you will help businesses realize the value they can gain from their IT capabilities — supporting strategy and being a key growth driver. The opportunity

EY is looking for a  Associate Business Analyst to support the team in the execution of clients’ assignments in the Insurance sector in the areas of:

• Leverage information management and business intelligence to enhance decision-making in insurance operations.


• Analyse and design tailored IT solutions that meet the unique needs of insurance applications.


• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within insurance workflows.


• Play a key role in planning and executing technology initiatives that drive innovation in the insurance sector.


• Work with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals in the insurance industry.

Your key responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements to fully understand user needs.


• Identify process improvements and create documentation: BRDs, functional specifications, use cases.


• Work with IT teams to develop solutions that align with industry standards and meet business needs.


• Create test plans and test cases to ensure solutions meet requirements.


• Act as the main communication link between business units and IT.

Skills and attributes for success

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in project management/business analysis, in the insurance industry.


• An effective communicator with strong people management skills.


• Ability to own and drive issues with the project team.
