Job Summary\n\nTo perform Welding, cladding, Grinding, Gouging, Flame Cutting, Material Handling and other relevant fabrication activities in line with Engineering drawing, WPS and manufacturing orders without compromising on Quality, Health and Safety\n\nRoles and Responsibilities\n\n\u2022 Read-understand Engineering Drawing, WPS, Welding symbols and Work Orders.\n\n\u2022 Perform welding or overlay work with appropriate material using both manual and / or automated process following above said documents\n\n\u2022 Set up, Operate and maintain welding machinery \u0026 other related equipment in the workshop.\n\n\u2022 Fill up and maintain weld map and sign off the Work orders accordingly after completion of work\n\n\u2022 Inspect and maintain all tools required for the job. Should be part of Continuous Improvement Team to improve cycle time \u0026 reduce defect\n\n\u2022 Do proper housekeeping in work area and do 5S inspection accordingly to schedule\n\n\u2022 Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations.\n\n\u2022 Assist as required in gouging, flame cutting, grinding, material handling or other related work in difficult condition onsite, offsite or customer locations as \u0026 when required.\n\n\u2022 Perform all duties as assigned by department head.\n\n\u2022 Ensure compliance to all health, safety and environment policies\n\n\u2022 To adhere to all company and legal requirement as per Johor-WI-A03-Roles, Responsibilities, Accountability and Authority (HSSE) document\n\nExperience:\n\n\u2022 Working experience as a welder in heavy industry for at least 5 years.\n\n\u2022 Minimum qualification should be 1G, 2G and 3G with minimum SMAW, GTAW and GMAW processes.\n\nEducation:\n\n\u2022 Minimum Certificate / Diploma in welding technology\n
