The TRAVIS marketplace (B2B platform and B2C app) standardizes the offering of thousands of truck service locations — such as truck washing, parking and charging — across Europe. TRAVIS is trusted by the likes of Amazon, Girteka, DB Schenker and most of Europe’s largest transport companies. As TRAVIS keeps growing, it is looking for a new account executive for the German market.
As Account Manager for the German market, the Account Executive develops and maintains strong business relationships in Germany, covering the full sales cycle — from sourcing new opportunities to up- and cross-selling to new and existing customers. The role suits a natural hunter with a proven track record in account management. Responsibilities include:
Drafting a plan to conquer the German carrier market with the head of sales, colleagues and marketing
Sourcing and qualifying leads with sales support and the AI specialist
Preparing and delivering compelling sales demos to new and existing customers
Building and maintaining operational and C-level relationships with decision-makers
Independently negotiating price levels and contracts within the portfolio
Working with partners such as Shell and software providers; visiting fairs and customers
The ideal candidate:
Has a native German level (the role primarily focuses on Germany) and is proficient in English; an additional European language is a plus
Has 3+ years of commercial experience in sales and/or business development (transport experience is welcome)
Has a proven track record of building a client portfolio from the ground up
Is experienced in complex accounts, solution-based selling and challenger sales
Takes ownership, is solution-oriented and eager to learn
Brings some discipline in structure and administration (CRM: HubSpot)
