Administrative Assistant – Maternity cover



As our Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to the Strategy and Organisation team. You will be working one to two days in the EAIE offices located in Amsterdam and the rest from home. You thrive in an international environment, are highly collaborative, and feel comfortable working independently when needed. You will report to the Chief of staff and will be part of the Strategy and Organisation team. 


 


Key responsibilities


The Administrative Assistant handles administrative tasks related to:




Office support 



  • Contract management  



  • Travel bookings and registrations 



  • Hotel bookings 



  • Meeting room bookings 



  • Catering arrangements 



  • Postage and office administration 



  • Staff gathering logistics 



  • Volunteering activity logistics 



  • Expense claims administration 



  • Credit card receipt collection and processing 



  • General office support 




Volunteer administration 



  • Maintain volunteer biographies, contact details and record 



  • Track volunteer expenses 



  • Process volunteer reimbursements 



  • Schedule volunteer meetings 



  • Support meeting logistics 


  


Requirements 



  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position 



  • Minimum level of MBO degree in a relevant field 



  • Excellent organisation and time management skills 



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 



  • Good interpersonal skills 



  • Proficiency in office software  



  • A valid work permit and already living in the Netherlands and prepared to travel to the office at least once per week

  •  Salary:starting full-time salary of €2.800 - €3.000 gross per month, depending on education/work experience. A five-day (37,5 hours) or four-day (30) work week is possible for this role. A contract of eight months will be offered initially. Available to start as soon as possible. 

  • Work where you thrive: we work hybrid, one or two days a week in the office. Plus, we cover your working from home costs with a monthly net allowance of € 52.
