Job Description - Application Packaging Engineer (ID:4022)

As an Application Packaging Engineer, you will:

Package and publish applications to end-user devices in accordance with customer policies and procedures.
Analyze and collect technical requirements for application software.
Support, maintain, and develop application packages to meet business requirements.
Troubleshoot application installation issues on end-user systems.
Resolve issues where users cannot access or see applications in the company portal.
Ensure applications function correctly after installation and match the source package.
Analyze cache logs to identify and resolve package deployment failures.
Perform application re-engineering when required.

What You Bring to the Table:

6+ years of experience as an Application Packaging Engineer.
Extensive knowledge of modern Microsoft environments.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Digital Workplace Studio.
Experience with application packaging, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of application lifecycle management and software deployment processes.
Knowledge of secure and stable digital workplace environments.

You should possess the ability to:

Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective application packages.
Troubleshoot application installation and deployment issues.
Identify and resolve application visibility and publishing issues.
Analyze cache logs and investigate package deployment failures.
Ensure applications meet functional and technical requirements after installation.
Work effectively with deployment processes, policies, and procedures.
Perform application re-engineering and optimize existing application packages.
