Job Description - Automation Engineer (ID: 3911)

As an Automation Engineer, you will:

Monitor enterprise dashboards, IT infrastructure, and operational systems in real time to ensure service continuity.
Manage incidents by troubleshooting critical alerts, coordinating resolutions, and restoring services within SLA targets.
Ensure compliance with system availability metrics, SLAs, and operational KPIs.
Act as the primary point of contact for high-severity incidents and coordinate cross-functional escalation with specialized support teams.
Identify opportunities to automate manual operational processes and implement automation solutions.
Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Python, Java, Shell, or similar technologies.
Configure and support system integrations between data inputs, controllers, and output systems.
Design and execute automated tests and simulations to validate system functionality before deployment.
Perform bug analysis, debugging, root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes to improve system reliability.

What You Bring to the Table:

8+ of experience in Command Centre Operations, IT Operations, Monitoring, Incident Management, or Automation.
Strong expertise in real-time monitoring, incident management, and SLA-driven operations.
Hands-on experience with AI-driven automation, scripting, and process optimization.
Proficiency in Python, Java, Shell scripting, or similar automation technologies.
Experience with IT monitoring, Enterprise Service Management (ESM), and operational support environments.
Knowledge of automation testing, debugging, and system integration practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities in high-pressure operational environments.

You should possess the ability to:

Monitor and respond to critical operational events in real time.
Prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents efficiently while meeting SLA commitments.
Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
Analyze recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams during major incidents.
Configure and integrate systems to enable seamless data flow across operational environments.
Execute automated testing and validate deployments with minimal operational risk.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
