Job Description - Azure Platform Engineer (ID: 3893)

As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will:

Design and implement cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure.
Build event-driven architectures using Azure Event Grid and related Azure services.
Develop scalable data solutions using Azure Cosmos DB.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Container Apps.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
Ensure production systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and highly available.
Monitor platform performance, optimize cost, availability, and resilience.
Collaborate with development, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver cloud platform capabilities.
Implement governance, compliance, and cloud security best practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

8+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
Expertise in Azure Event Grid, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Container Apps.
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
Strong understanding of microservices and cloud-native architecture.
Experience with Docker containerization and API management.
Knowledge of Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Solid understanding of high availability, scalability, fault tolerance, and cloud security.
Exposure to Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, distributed systems, or enterprise cloud migration is an added advantage.

You should possess the ability to:

Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions.
Build and manage event-driven architectures.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
Optimize platform performance, cost, and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex cloud and containerized environments.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
Apply DevOps, automation, and cloud governance best practices.
Support modernization initiatives and cloud transformation projects.
