Chef de Partie

Países Bajos Jobs is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie for a long-term position at a hotel in the Amsterdam area.

This position is suitable for an experienced kitchen professional who can work independently, maintain high-quality standards and take responsibility within the kitchen team.

Salary: €21.00 gross per hour including benefits
Working hours: Approximately 38 hours per week

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for your own section and contribute to the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and organizing the daily mise en place
• Preparing and presenting dishes according to the hotel's quality standards
• Taking responsibility for your section of the kitchen
• Ensuring every dish is prepared and presented correctly before service
• Coordinating with the Chef and Sous Chef
• Communicating efficiently with the service team
• Checking and managing incoming orders during service
• Maintaining hygiene, HACCP and food safety standards
• Contributing ideas to improve dishes, preparation methods and overall quality
• Supporting colleagues during busy services

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a responsible or managerial kitchen role
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar position
• Good level of English
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Professional attitude and attention to detail
• Flexible regarding evening and early-morning shifts
• EU citizenship or valid right to work in the Netherlands

WORKING HOURS

Approximately 38 hours per week, although hours may vary.

The schedule consists mainly of evening shifts starting around 14:00.

You must also be available for a minimum of two breakfast shifts, starting from approximately 04:30.

ACCOMMODATION

Single room in a shared house.

Rent: €131.32 per person per week.

Travel time to the workplace is approximately 35 minutes by bicycle.

MEALS

One free meal is provided per worked shift.
