Job Description - Citrix Administrator (ID:3848)

As a Citrix Administrator, you will:
  • Administer, manage, and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Deploy and manage Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions using Machine Creation Services (MCS) and other provisioning methods.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Citrix DaaS, Citrix Director, and related Citrix components.
  • Implement and support application delivery solutions using App Layering and application publishing methodologies.
  • Monitor environment health, performance, and user experience using Citrix and third -party monitoring tools.
  • Apply Citrix, Windows, and infrastructure updates, patches, and security enhancements.
  • Manage and troubleshoot user profile solutions, including Citrix Profile Management and FSLogix.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams supporting VMware, Azure, and other hypervisor platforms.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex incidents related to Citrix applications, desktops, and underlying infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support knowledge bases.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 10+ years of experience in Citrix administration, engineering, and support.
  • Strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix DaaS, and Citrix Director.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with VDI deployment and management using MCS and other provisioning technologies.
  • Hands -on experience with App Layering and application publishing.
  • Proficiency in profile management technologies such as Citrix Profile Management and FSLogix.
  • Experience working with VMware, Azure, and other virtualization platforms.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and performance analysis tools such as Splunk, UberAgent, and similar solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, registry settings, and system administration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
You Should Possess the Ability to:
  • Diagnose and resolve complex Citrix infrastructure, application, and desktop issues.
  • Optimize system performance and user experience across virtual desktop environments.
  • Manage user profiles and address profile -related performance and accessibility issues.
  • Automate administrative and operational tasks using PowerShell.
  • Monitor infrastructure proactively and identify potential issues before they impact users.
  • Implement patches, upgrades, and configuration changes with minimal disruption.
  • Analyze logs, metrics, and monitoring data to perform effective root cause analysis.
  • Work collaboratively across infrastructure, cloud, and support teams.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non -technical stakeholders.
  • Produce accurate technical documentation and operational procedures.
