As Executive Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining this standard of excellence and inspiring the Housekeeping Team to make a difference for our guests every single day. 

What you’ll do 

As Executive Housekeeper, you will lead the Housekeeping Team and be responsible for the overall presentation and quality of the hotel and its inventory. With a sharp eye for detail, you ensure that all service and cleanliness standards are met, so every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience. 

You coordinate the daily operations of the Housekeeping department and work closely with the Director of Rooms to maintain the overall quality of hotel services | Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness | Foster team spirit and ensure smooth internal communication | Manage linen and uniforms, and support the team in handling challenges or complaints | Oversee decoration and floral arrangements throughout the hotel, contributing to its visual appeal | Additionally, prepare internal reports and monitor operational budgets. 

Who you are 

You have at least 10 years of experience across various Rooms Division departments and hold a HBO+ level of thinking | You are creative in finding solutions and passionate about achieving the best results together | You have experience in 5-star hotels and are fluent in English | You thrive in a dynamic environment, pay attention to detail, and are not afraid to try new approaches | You are an inspiring leader who motivates and develops your team. 

Nice to have 

Proficiency in Dutch | Positive energy and enthusiasm | Experience with LQA standards | Education from a hotel management school | Good knowledge of the city of Amsterdam.
