Financial Controller / Manager

Our organization is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the financial management and operations of the company. The Financial Controller will report directly to the GM EMEA and have overall financial responsibility for the organization. The candidate must have a strong track record in financial analysis and strategic planning, and have a hands on mentatily.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial operations of the company, including but not limited to accounting, budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and financial reporting  
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to the senior management team, including the CEO and GM EMEA  
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures  
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and tax laws  
• Work closely with the GM EMEA to develop the annual budget and strategic plan  
• Implement and maintain an effective system of internal controls  
• Support the Financial  Specialist in accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Support HR Team  
• Oversee audit and tax functions and coordinate with external  auditors and tax advisors 

Qualifications:

• HBO in finance, accounting, or related field  
• 4+ years of experience in finance or accounting   
• Experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and  forecasting  
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including Dutch GAAP and IFRS  
• Proficient in Exact and Microsoft Office suite  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
