In this role, you will lead Emsere’s global supply chain activities, including operations, procurement, transportation, inventory management and third-party logistics.
Your responsibilities include:
Leading the Global Supply Chain Organization
- Lead and develop the global supply chain leadership team, including Regional Operations Managers and Global Managers for Product & Procurement and Transport.
- Set clear objectives, support capability development and create an environment where teams can perform and grow.
- Ensure alignment between global priorities and regional execution.
Driving Operational Excellence
- Improve operational performance across warehousing, fulfillment, logistics, procurement and related operational processes.
- Develop and implement standardized ways of working while considering regional requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, customer experience and cost effectiveness.
Executing Supply Chain Strategy
- Translate strategic objectives into practical roadmaps, priorities and measurable KPIs.
- Provide input into supply chain development, capacity planning and future operational needs.
- Ensure operational readiness for new customers, studies and business initiatives.
Managing Procurement, Logistics and Suppliers
- Oversee procurement strategy execution, supplier performance and product lifecycle management.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, contracts and service level expectations.
- Ensure effective transportation operations and strong partnerships with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
Optimizing Inventory and Financial Performance
- Ensure effective inventory planning, replenishment and asset utilization.
- Balance inventory investment with the service levels required to support clinical trials.
- Own the global supply chain budget and drive improvements in productivity, cost efficiency and working capital.
Ensuring Compliance and Continuous Improvement
- Ensure operations comply with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
- Support digitalization, automation and improvements in supply chain visibility and reporting.
