This role is accountable for delivering fully integrated, customer-ready product (hardware and software) releases by owning the end-to-end delivery system from committed scope through to deployment. It ensures objective, system-level readiness by aligning cross-functional teams, enforcing clear release criteria, and making independent go/no-go decisions based on data rather than pressure. Over time this role builds and leads a dedicated delivery function, that sustains high cadence release performance across Avidion and future product lines.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end release ownership
Own delivery from committed scope → customer-ready system
Define and enforce release criteria (what must be true to ship)
Accept or reject releases based on objective readiness, not pressure
Delivery system execution
Establish and maintain one delivery system (tools, cadence, reporting)
Ensure all work (features, bugs, dependencies) is visible and tracked
Ensure full visibility across R&D, Operations, Commercial and Customer Success (no parallel tracking)
Standardize cadence, reporting, and metrics across all involved functions
System Integration & Readiness
Ensure hardware, PLC, software, and operational workflows (manufacturing, install, service) work as one system
Integrate supplier deliverables into system-level readiness
Prevent late-stage failures by enforcing integration checkpoints including install scenario
Build and lead the delivery function
Define the operating model, roles and tooling of the delivery function
Establish development and performance standards for the team
Key activities
Design and implement the end-to-end delivery system (tools, cadence, governance)
Lead and enforce release execution against committed milestones
Establish and monitor delivery metrics (cycle time, throughput, defect rate, readiness)
Identify and resolve system bottlenecks and cross-functional dependencies
Drive and facilitate escalation and decision-making across senior stakeholders
Coordinate and align PMM, R&D, Commercial and suppliers toward release goals
Continuously improve delivery performance through data-driven insights
Build and develop the delivery team

10 years of experience in complex product environments combining hardware, software, and manufacturing.
Core competences
System-level thinking, understands how multiple functions (hardware, software, manufacturing, commercial) interact as one system. Ability to see beyond functions.
End-to-end delivery ownership, drives clarity, holds team accountable across boundaries.
Decision making under ambiguity, makes go/no go calls with incomplete information, balances commercial pressure vs technical reality, uses data but isn’t blocked by lack of perfection (80/20).
Cross-functional leadership (without authority), ability to align stakeholders with conflicting priorities, creates one shared reality.
Team leadership and development
Delivery methodology fluent (agile, kanban, or SAFe in HW/SW environments able to desing and adapt opertating model to context.
