We are hiring across several EQT’s core investment strategies, including:

Private Capital:

• Healthcare / Life Sciences: backing leading companies across the healthcare value chain, from medtech and pharma services to healthcare providers and life sciences.


• Private Equity / Ventures / Growth: generalist and thematic investing across buyouts, growth equity and venture, with a focus on future-proofing businesses across sectors and geographies.
  
  


• Infrastructure: investing in essential infrastructure assets across energy transition, digital infrastructure, transport and social infrastructure, with a focus on long-term, sustainable value creation.
  
  


• Real Estate: investing in high-quality real estate assets across Europe, with a focus on sectors benefitting from structural tailwinds such as logistics, residential and mixed-use developments.

In an Associate-level role at EQT, you will contribute across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, due diligence, execution, active ownership, and value creation initiatives within portfolio companies. You will work closely with Partners and senior team members, gaining exposure to high-impact projects while contributing to EQT’s mission to future-proof companies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and commercial assessment of potential investment opportunities across sectors and markets


• Support investment teams in evaluating businesses through structured problem solving, critical thinking, and data-driven insights


• Prepare high-quality investment materials and contribute to decision-making processes across the full investment lifecycle


• Build and maintain financial models to assess company performance, investment scenarios, and value creation opportunities


• Collaborate closely with investment professionals, portfolio company management teams, advisors, and external stakeholders


• Monitor portfolio company performance and support strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and value creation plans


• Participate in research and market mapping activities to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and new investment themes


• Leverage technology and AI-enhanced ways of working to improve efficiency, analysis, and insight generation, while critically assessing and validating outputs


• Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset

About you

We are looking for curious, driven, and collaborative individuals who thrive in fast-paced and intellectually demanding environments.

Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with sound commercial judgment


• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations


• High learning agility and adaptability, with an openness toward evolving technologies and AI-enhanced ways of working


• Strong attention to detail alongside the ability to maintain a broader strategic perspective


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams


• Intellectual curiosity and an interest in industries, businesses, markets, and long-term value creation


• A proactive and team-oriented mindset aligned with EQT’s collaborative culture


• 1-4 years of relevant experience from investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or other analytically rigorous environments is considered advantageous
