Job Description - Java Architect

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.

Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.

Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.

Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

Define, own, and drive the end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications built using Java and Angular technologies.

Design scalable, secure, high-performing, and maintainable solutions that support critical airline business operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Lead architecture workshops, technical design reviews, and technology evaluation activities to ensure alignment with business and enterprise architecture standards.

Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to cross-functional development teams across both backend and frontend domains.

Architect and oversee the development of microservices-based, API-driven, event-oriented, and cloud-native applications.

Guide the design and implementation of responsive, intuitive, and user-centric web applications using Angular.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and domain experts to translate airline industry requirements into robust technical solutions.

Establish and enforce engineering best practices covering software architecture, coding standards, CI/CD, DevOps, security, observability, and performance optimization.

Continuously assess and enhance application architecture to improve scalability, availability, resilience, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

Drive the adoption of modern architecture patterns, frameworks, and emerging technologies across development teams.

Mentor and coach developers, technical leads, and engineering teams on architecture principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.

Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Participate in technical roadmap planning, solution estimation, risk assessment, release governance, and strategic technology initiatives.

Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, and operations teams to ensure successful deployment and support of enterprise solutions.
