Legal Counsel

About the role

As a Legal Counsel, you will work closely with executive management and business stakeholders, providing legal advice and support across the organisation. You will help protect the company’s interests, manage legal and compliance risks, and ensure that our business operates in line with applicable laws and internal standards.

We are looking for a proactive, business-oriented legal professional who combines strong legal expertise with sound judgment and a practical approach to complex matters.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice to management and business stakeholders across a broad range of matters.


• Manage legal, compliance, and regulatory risks and support the implementation of internal policies and governance processes.


• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, vendor, employment, and other business agreements.


• Advise on employment, corporate, administrative, and other legal matters, including M&A activities.


• Support the protection and enforcement of the company’s intellectual property rights.


• Monitor relevant legal developments and assess their impact on the business.


• Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical risk assessments and recommendations.


• Manage relationships with external legal counsel, regulators, and authorities.


• Support the resolution of complex legal matters and promote a culture of compliance, ethics, and accountability.
  

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law and a valid licence to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.


• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Legal Counsel or in a similar legal advisory role.


• Experience in corporate, employment, and administrative law.


• Experience in an international or retail environment is an advantage.


• Fluency in English; French, German, or another European language is a plus.


• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with a practical, business-oriented approach.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.


• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
