Job Description - OpenText ECM Functional Consultant (ID:4093)

As an OpenText ECM Functional Consultant, you will:

Design, implement, configure, and support OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions to manage business documents and digital content.
Configure and customize OpenText Content Suite, Document Management, and workflow solutions based on business requirements.
Integrate OpenText platforms with SAP, ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
Develop workflows, forms, and content governance processes to improve document lifecycle management.
Perform system configuration, upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization activities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable ECM solutions.
Troubleshoot application issues, provide production support, and ensure system availability.
Create and maintain technical documentation, conduct user training, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Support content governance, records management, compliance, and document retention requirements.
Leverage OpenText expertise, including relevant Exstream capabilities, to support enterprise content management requirements.

What You Bring to the Table:

10+ years of experience in OpenText solutions or a similar enterprise content management environment.
Strong expertise in OpenText ECM and Content Suite, including Archive Center, Document Management, and workflow solutions.
Experience with OpenText Exstream.
Hands-on experience integrating and customizing OpenText solutions with SAP, ERP, CRM, and third-party applications.
Knowledge of content governance, records management, document lifecycle management, compliance, and information retention.
Experience in workflow development, forms configuration, system upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization.
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience providing application and production support.
Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical and functional solutions.
Experience preparing technical documentation, delivering user training, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Understand business requirements and translate them into practical ECM solutions.
Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and application owners.
Analyze complex application issues and drive them towards resolution.
Manage integrations and ensure effective information flow between enterprise applications.
Maintain document governance, compliance, and records management standards.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Take ownership of assigned activities and proactively identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
