Job Description - Operational Order Planner

The Job

As an Operational Order Planner, you provide administrative and operational support to the team in their daily activities within an international environment.

You are responsible for placing and maintaining purchase orders, monitoring their progress, and proactively identifying risks or delays. In case of disruptions, you escalate issues where needed and advise on appropriate solutions, ensuring timely and clear communication to all stakeholders.

You actively anticipate potential issues and flag them to the main stakeholders working collaboratively to define and implement proactive actions. In addition, you contribute to continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and supporting initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Your Mission

  • Support the creation and maintenance of purchase orders; 
  • Monitor adherence to agreed order and delivery conditions, ensuring timely availability of products; 
  • Proactively identify potential availability risks and recommend optimal solutions; 
  • Act as key point of contact for suppliers, ensuring smooth and effective collaboration; 
  • Advise on and initiate process improvement actions; 
  • Support additional relevant activities and projects as required.

Your Talent

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • 0-1 year experience in similar position;
  • Analytical mindset, Proactive, Strong communication skills;
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, SAP is a plus;
  • English on proficiency level.

This role is based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.

To apply for this role, you must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. We will not apply for work or residence permits.
