A Day in the Life

As Pathway solutions lead EurAsia & Principal Consultant Benelux you will connect with clients across the Benelux region and beyond, understand and analyze their most pressing clinical and business challenges, and deliver high-value consulting services that improve productivity, quality, and competitiveness. This role combines strategic client engagement with the design and delivery of pathway optimization and transformation programs, working closely with healthcare leaders and Medtronic teams across Benelux and EurAsia. You will split your time between leading consulting projects with hospital clients in the Netherlands and Belgium and contributing to central team initiatives, with a flexible combination of on-site and remote work and travel across the Benelux region and occasionally EurAsia.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Shape, manage, and deliver high-quality consultancy programs and projects that drive measurable clinical, operational, and economic impact for healthcare customers
• Develop and enhance consulting solutions and services focused on Pathway Optimization, continuously improving tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Partner with hospital stakeholders, clinical leaders, and senior management to identify challenges, build business cases, and support sustainable change
• Act as a subject matter expert within Benelux and EurAsia project teams, supporting the delivery of pathway optimization and other strategic healthcare transformation projects
• Drive adoption of consulting tools and assets by capturing feedback, sharing success stories, and continuously enriching Medtronic’s consulting capabilities
• Collaborate with Medtronic Operating Units and internal teams to identify and prioritize strategic, outcome-based projects that improve care pathways and patient outcomes
• Apply expertise in healthcare systems, project management, change management, data analytics, and digital health solutions to support impactful consulting engagements

 

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Master’s degree with a strong academic track record, combined with 7+ years of consulting experience (strategy, Big4, healthcare) or equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end transformation programs, from strategy development through implementation and measurable results
• Demonstrated experience in healthcare consulting, clinical pathway optimization, business case development, and health analytics
• Strong understanding of hospital environments, healthcare systems, and healthcare decision-making processes, with the ability to engage clinical and executive stakeholders
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels
• Fluency in Dutch and English; experience with digital health solutions and health economics is considered an advantage

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
