Principal UX Designer

Your Job

As Principal UX Designer, you are responsible for delivering exceptional user experiences in major digital projects. You are a guide for the UX team, develop strategies and standards, and ensure data-driven improvements that demonstrably enhance both the brand and the user experience. You tackle product-wide UX challenges that have high impact and complexity. With in-depth knowledge of new technologies and design systems, you ensure efficient and high-quality implementation, while inspiring teams to work innovatively and consistently. Serving as the connecting link between UX, development, and business, you translate business objectives into scalable UX solutions.

You've got what it takes:

• Deep interest in, and knowledge of, how to use new technologies to (y)our advantage
• Strong awareness of the impact of brand in design
• Ability to combine different research methods and data input (from users and business) for UX decisions
• Experience with UX metrics
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Skilled in improving UX processes and governance
• Act as a representative for UX in roadmap sessions, portfolio decisions, and meetings with senior leadership
• Demonstrable experience as a senior or principal UX Designer in a complex digital environment
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus
