R&D Capability Building Engineer IGTS

Use your quality and change management expertise to build and improve Design & Development processes, competences, tools and data management within IGT Systems R&D, ensuring these are fully aligned with internal and external standards and organizational needs.

Your role:

• Contribute to Learning Control Boards, Process Improvement, and Capability teams to drive continuous improvement and building new capabilities
• Proactively advise and support process and capability owners in strengthening design processes and capabilities
• Drive and execute cross-functional process and capability improvement initiatives, including resolution of process CAPAs
• Support institutionalization of development processes and standards through training, workshops, and enablement activities
• Perform assessments and deep dives (e.g. audits, value stream analyses) and provide actionable insights
• Lead the preparation, alignment, and deployment of QMS change requests
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement

You're the right fit with:

• 5–7 years of experience in process improvement and quality-driven environments
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality management within healthcare
• Proven experience in change management and continuous improvement (LEAN mindset preferred)
• Comfortable working with IT tools such as PLM, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Background in R&D
• Affinity with medical products and systems
• Strong quality mindset; audit experience is a plus
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Experienced with structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, CAPA)
