Job Description - Senior Backend Developer

On behalf of one of our clients, we are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their innovative team in Eindhoven. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of energy management technology.

Job Description

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will:

Develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript and REST APIs
Collaborate closely with frontend, UX, and data science teams
Optimize and scale cloud -based infrastructure
Lead initiatives in test automation, clean code, and best practices
Continuously improve backend architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes

Requirements

6+ years of experience in backend development, with strong TypeScript skills
Proven track record working in multidisciplinary teams of at least 8 developers
Experience with Gitlab CI/CD, Kubernetes, and open -source technologies
Expertise in test automation and Clean Code principles
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
Willingness to live in or relocate to the Eindhoven area
