Senior Legal Counsel – Group Legal, Business Team

You will lead complex, high-impact legal work that supports key business activities, including strategic transactions, supplier arrangements, and enterprise initiatives. Working across functions and regions, you will provide commercially focused legal guidance, helping shape solutions that balance risk, regulatory requirements, and customer outcomes. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, influencing stakeholders and driving alignment across teams. Your work will contribute to consistent, scalable legal practices that support business performance and long-term value creation.

Day to day:

• Lead legal support for complex transactions and strategic business initiatives across markets.
• Advise on supplier and outsourcing arrangements, balancing risk, cost, and customer outcomes. 
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align on structure, strategy, and execution.
• Shape negotiation approaches for complex commercial agreements and key supplier relationships. 
• Provide guidance on data, privacy, and regulatory considerations in business activities.
• Resolve complex or novel legal issues requiring judgment across multiple disciplines.
• Influence stakeholders to drive commercially sound and customer-focused decisions.
• Support development of legal frameworks, templates, and consistent ways of working. 
• Partner with the commercial domain to deliver practical, scalable legal solutions.
• Mentor peers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the Legal function.
• Foster strong collaboration across the Legal network by encouraging shared responsibility, collective ownership, and aligned ways of working.

Essentials:

• Masters degree in Law from a recognised jurisdiction.
• 10 years+ experience in commercial, corporate, or transactional law.
• Experience advising on complex, cross-border legal matters.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous and complex environments.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong negotiation skills in complex commercial or supplier arrangements.
• Fluent in English.
