The Role: Senior Pricing Manager EMEA Industrial Solutions
Location: Netherlands / Breukelen
As the Senior Pricing Manager EMEA for our Industrial Solutions division, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing pricing strategies and driving profitability across the region. Together with your team, you will enable the realization of annual pricing plans, support Regional Business leaders, and set pricing policies to drive margin expansion. You’ll collaborate closely with regional product managers, commercial teams, and global analysts, and be at the heart of strategic pricing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with divisional goals and market dynamics.
Monitor and control pocket price leakage, ensuring profitability is maintained throughout all commercial activities.
Gather competitive intelligence and develop counterstrategies to maintain Solenis’ s market leadership.
Conduct historical price analysis and segment profitability reviews to inform ongoing optimization.
Review deals, providing expert advice to improve pricing outcomes and account-level profitability.
Advise teams on contract structuring, including formula or index-based pricing where appropriate.
Champion the value of differentiated products and services within the organization.
Create and maintain price lists, set new product pricing, and manage price book updates and administration.
Ensure internal communication of price changes and monitor terms compliance.
Analyse transactional pricing, approve exceptions, and ensure accurate price uploads into systems such as SFDC.
Track adherence to business rules and execute ad-hoc pricing projects as needed.
Conduct post-deal analytics, including win/loss analysis, and provide ongoing pricing and profitability reporting.
Your Profile
Four-year college or university degree.
8 years working experience in the area of Sales, Pricing, Product Management, Marketing, Sourcing or Finance
Demonstrable experience in product, pricing, or value management.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
Team management experience is a strong asset.
Knowledge of SAP is essential.
Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills along with commercial acumen.
Ability to interact with and influence a variety of stakeholders across functions and regions.
Self-starter with critical thinking abilities and an eye for detail.
Strong organizational skills and accuracy in work.
Flexibility to travel occasionally across EMEA.
