ServiceNow Architect / Product Owner

Requirements

• Design enterprise-scale ITSM solutions aligned with ITIL best practices, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and global platform consistency.
  


• Architect and develop complex solutions using JavaScript, Script Includes, Glide APIs, and reusable development frameworks and patterns.
  


• Design and implement secure, scalable integrations using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and IntegrationHub, ensuring reliable data exchange across enterprise systems.
  


• Manage large-scale data imports, staging tables, transform maps, import sets, and scheduled synchronization processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  


• Design event-driven solutions using platform events, Script Actions, Scheduled Jobs, and notification frameworks to support business processes and communications.
  


• Design and implement complex Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and dynamic portal experiences to streamline user interactions.
  


• Analyze transaction logs, identify performance bottlenecks, optimize database queries and indexes, and improve overall platform efficiency.
  


• Conduct advanced troubleshooting, code reviews, and architectural assessments to identify and resolve underlying system issues.
  


• Lead technical design reviews, establish development standards, enforce coding best practices, and define application architecture guidelines.
  


• Communicate platform capabilities, technical constraints, architectural decisions, and strategic recommendations to business and executive stakeholders.
  


• Strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM architecture and solution design.
  


• Expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and ServiceNow development best practices.
  


• Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, JDBC integrations, and IntegrationHub.
  


• Experience managing data imports, transform maps, import sets, and data migration activities.
  


• Strong understanding of Service Catalog, Record Producers, Portal development, and user experience design.
  


• Proven experience in platform performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  


• Experience conducting code reviews, enforcing governance standards, and defining technical architecture frameworks.
  


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  


• Define and drive the long-term architectural vision and platform strategy for the ServiceNow environment.
  


• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and upgrade-safe technical solutions.
  


• Oversee the design, security, performance, and governance of enterprise integrations across the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  


• Establish coding standards, review development deliverables, and ensure platform health through effective governance practices.
  


• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance to ensure stability, scalability, and maximum uptime.
  


• Advise stakeholders on ServiceNow capabilities, platform best practices, and alignment with out-of-the-box functionality and long-term roadmap objectives.
