For our location in Venray, we are looking for an entrepreneurial site manager who makes an impact on both an operational and strategic level within our international 3PL environment.

Working at this location means leading a complex and dynamic multi-client operation of 65,000 m2, where over 125 colleagues work together every day to deliver high-quality logistics services. From warehousing and value added logistics to automation and customer development: you’re on it.

How do you do this? As site manager, you are fully responsible for the entire operation, customer relationships, performance, and continued growth of the location. You effortlessly switch between operations, strategy, and commercial activities and know exactly how to bring together people, processes, and customer interests. With your vision and leadership, you ensure the site is ready for the future and continues to grow within an international environment.

You are visibly present on the work floor, where you motivate and develop employees while encouraging ownership. At the same time, you are a valued discussion partner for customers on both a tactical and strategic level. You translate customer expectations into concrete plans and create alignment between operations, customer needs, and business objectives.

In addition, you are responsible for achieving KPIs, managing performance and workforce management, and overseeing the financial results (P&L) of the site. You use data and automation to continuously optimise processes and actively contribute to a culture where collaboration, quality, and ownership are key. You achieve this by:

• delivering an efficient and scalable operation where KPIs, quality, and customer satisfaction are central;


• developing customer relationships further and identifying commercial opportunities within existing and new business;


• building a strong management structure where ownership, development, and collaboration are central;


• translating data, automation, and market developments into future-focused improvements and growth.

You bring

• proven experience in managing large-scale logistics operations within a 3PL environment;


• strategic and commercial insight with which you further develop processes, customers, and teams;


• inspiring leadership skills: you know how to connect, develop, and empower people;


• excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, enabling you to communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation.
