Software Engineer (Python)

You will join the development team at UbiOps as Software Engineer, actively contributing to the design, development, maintenance and support of our UbiOps platform. Together with a young and enthusiastic team of experienced developers you will be working on the core of UbiOps. You will be using the latest technologies to continue building a secure, robust and cutting-edge cloud platform for helping our customers run, scale and orchestrate their AI & ML applications.

Some technologies and platforms in use at UbiOps are Python, Go, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, Google Cloud and Gitlab.

You and your team members are part of an agile and multidisciplinary team of experienced software developers, UX/UI designers, data scientists, product managers and customer success specialists, giving you plenty of opportunities to grow and explore new technologies. On a daily basis, you will interact frequently with the front-end team to align on features, API functionality and product improvements.

• Completed Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or similar

• Hands-on experience with developing, testing and supporting production grade software

• The ability to independently deliver clean, tested and documented code.

• Familiarity with a microservices architecture and RESTful APIs

• Experience with cloud computing services and concepts (GCP, AWS or Azure)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and memory data stores (Redis)

• Experience with developing in Go is a plus

• Affinity with big data and data science concepts is a plus

• Curious, resourceful and a quick learner. You enjoy experimenting and won’t give up easily!

• Strong communication and team-player abilities

• Professional proficiency in English
