Systems and Control Engineer

Job Description

• Develop models of home energy products including HVAC components and batteries
  
• Design state estimators to track the home energy ecosystem in real -time
  
• Create algorithms for home energy management, balancing comfort, efficiency, and reliability
  
• Implement low -level controls for rapid -prototyping of control algorithms
  
• Collaborate on test setups and optimal sensor placements
  
• Develop and update simulation environments
  
• Work in cross -functional teams to integrate modeling and control algorithms
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software, Control, Systems Engineering, or related field
  
• 4+ years of working experience in systems control, energy management, or related field
  
• Expertise in developing models for control
  
• Proficiency in Python
  
• Understanding of control theory principles for home energy management
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Eagerness to learn and grow
