Job Description - Trainers/Instructors for Project and Contractor Audit Management
We are seeking a highly experienced trainer/instructor to deliver a professional training program on Project and Contractor Audit Management in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in auditing, project management, risk assessment, and compliance with international audit standards. The trainer must be able to deliver both conceptual and practical learning using real-world audit scenarios.
This program enables participants to understand, manage, and execute effective audits of projects and contractors while upholding quality assurance principles and international standards such as the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver structured and engaging training sessions covering key areas of project and contractor audit processes, including planning, risk assessment, performance evaluation, and reporting.
Develop and adapt course materials, presentations, and case studies in alignment with international audit frameworks and CPD-accredited standards.
Teach participants how to integrate project and contractor functions to uphold quality standards and drive operational efficiency.
Facilitate hands-on activities such as audit simulations, risk assessments, and problem-solving sessions.
Provide practical guidance on implementing Quality Assurance and Improvement Programs (QAIP), strategic audit planning, and compliance-based auditing.
Present real-world case studies to help participants analyze audit challenges, ethical considerations, and best practices.
Evaluate participant progress and ensure core learning outcomes are achieved.
Collaborate with the training coordination team to tailor examples and scenarios to participant backgrounds and industry contexts.
Requirements
Proven experience as a trainer, auditor, consultant, or project management professional in areas such as internal audit, external audit, project governance, contractor management, or risk assessment.
Strong knowledge of audit processes, audit standards (including IIA Standards), project lifecycles, procurement, and contractor evaluation.
Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, PMP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
Solid understanding of risk-based auditing, QAIP, reporting standards, and stakeholder management.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to guide participants through technical and practical audit exercises.
Experience delivering interactive training using case studies, role-playing, and audit simulations.
Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, or available to travel there for the duration of the training.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
