Are you currently studying to become a chef and eager to gain hands on experience in a professional kitchen? At Jansz., you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced chefs while developing the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to build a successful culinary career.
 

Located in the heart of Amsterdam's iconic canal district, Jansz. is a modern European restaurant known for its seasonal ingredients, refined dishes, and welcoming atmosphere. As an Apprentice Chef, you'll become a valued member of the kitchen team and gain exposure to all aspects of a professional restaurant operation.
 

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the kitchen team with daily mise en place and food preparation.
• Learning professional cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Assisting during lunch and dinner service.
• Helping maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and organisation.
• Following food safety and HACCP procedures.
• Working alongside experienced chefs who are passionate about mentoring and development.
   

What we're looking for

• You are currently enrolled in a culinary education programme and require an internship or apprenticeship placement.
• A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
• Eagerness to learn, develop, and take initiative.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Good command of English.
