Introduction

Shimano is looking to offer an HR internship to work within our offices on High Tech Campus, Eindhoven. We offer a multi-cultural working environment where you have the opportunity to support critical service delivery to our employees in offices across Europe.
The internship is primarily working within the HR Administration team to understand how the core processes within HR with practical hands-on experience.
You will also work closely and collaborate with our HR Specialists and HR Business Partners on their projects. We always have new and exciting projects as an organization so for those with a proactive attitude there are many opportunities to be involved and further your learning.

The Challenge

• Participate as part of the HR Admin team (tickets management, navigational support on policy, Workday usage and reporting)
• Collaborate with CoEs (Center of Expertise) and HR BPs (Human Resources Business Partners) on projects aiming to improve the quality of our HR Services

What are we looking for?

• A student within the Human Resources discipline (must)
• A student enrolled in a university for the full duration of the internship (must)  
• Based nearby Eindhoven or planning to move to the region for the internship.
• Strong communication and digital skills.  
• A hands-on and customer centered mentality
• Capable of working independently in a structured and accurate way
• Excellent language skills in English, both verbally and in writing
• Available for a minimum of 32 hours a week for a period of 20 weeks (or more)
