Job Description - People & Culture Intern (Hospitality & Events)

Job description

About Zenchef

Imagine working in an environment that feels like the best dinner you’ve ever had: fast-paced, human, and built on passion. Hospitality Tech Group combines the strengths of Zenchef and CoverManager—two complementary leaders joining forces as one independent global hospitality tech team. We operate through Zenchef in France, Benelux, and DACH, and through CoverManager in the Iberian peninsula, Italy, and LATAM. We bring restaurants and guests closer together through technology — and our heart beats hospitality. Because progress is our compass, and we always go together.

Hungry? Take a seat!— especially if your favorite activity is going out for dinner.

Our values:

Hospitality at heart: We are hospitality experts who bring genuine care and deep industry knowledge to everything we do—for our clients and for each other.

Better together: We put people first and succeed as one unified team—supporting each other, learning from each other, and continuously improving through shared knowledge and feedback.

Progress over perfection: We embrace the power of progress. We value and prioritize action over idealism to unlock our full potential and achieve extraordinary results.

Hospitality at Heart — Your purpose

As our People team & Office Management Intern, you'll be the person who makes the office feel like home — organized, welcoming, and running smoothly no matter what the day throws at you. You'll also execute on the ground for our People & Culture team, turning their plans into reality and helping bring our "better together" value to life for every employee who walks through the door.

Better Together — Your team

You'll work closely with our Global WorkPlace Experience Lead and our local HR team, and become a trusted point of contact for colleagues across the office, you may also collaborate with our wider network of Office Managers and People & Culture teammates across our hubs.

Progress over perfection — What you will do

  • Run day-to-day office operations — welcoming guests, setting up breakfast on Tuesdays and possibly Thursdays, ordering supplies, monitoring stock, handling facilities requests, vendor coordination, mail and deliveries — keeping things running smoothly even when priorities shift quickly

  • Ensuring the office remains clean, organized, and presentable

  • Be the friendly, reliable face of the office for employees and visitors alike, and a calm point of contact when schedules or plans change on short notice

  • Carry out on- and offboarding logistics, internal events, and other employee experience plans set by the People & Culture team,

  • Distribute and follow up on internal communications, making sure updates reach the team clearly and on time

  • Take on ad hoc administrative tasks that require flexibility, discretion, and a can-do attitude

  • Keep accurate records and trackers for office operations and team requests

  • Proactive, hands-on problem-solving mindset, spot what needs doing and get it done

Job requirements

Your secret ingredient - What you will bring

You are one of us if your heart beats hospitality. If you are generous with your help and honest in your feedback. If your mind sparks with new knowledge and you move with momentum. Are you the friend who makes the dinner reservation and chooses the wine? Then you’re home with us. You also bring:

  • Study background in Hospitality or Events Management

  • Adaptability and composure — ability to read the room, and stay steady and solutions-focused even when priorities shift

  • Strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks

  • Discretion and good judgment when handling sensitive information

  • Warm, clear communication — you can deliver updates or navigate with empathy

  • Genuine curiosity about People & Culture, employee experience, and workplace operations

  • Availability to start immediately and commit through the end of the year

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required
