Supply Chain Planning & Procurement Traineeship

Neways Advanced Application is a leading player in electronics for the Semiconductor and Healthcare industries. Neways offers a great opportunity to become familiar with the industry through this versatile and engaging traineeship. During the traineeship, you will gain exposure to various roles and skill sets within Supply Chain Management and develop into a true Supply Chain Professional.

Within this traineeship, you will have the opportunity to experience what it means to manage our production planning, collaborate with suppliers and customers, handle escalations, and optimize existing processes. You will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines.

Over a period of approximately 2.5 years, you will fulfill three different roles that contribute to successfully responding to the continuously growing customer demand. You will start in one of the following positions: Operational Buyer, Production Planner, or Enterprise Planner(Support).

The intended start date of the traineeship is July 1.

You easily connect with people and are strong in harmonizing and optimizing a production environment. You are driven and decisive in your work and have a strong personality.

• A bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

  • Logistics

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Commercial Economics

  • Industrial Engineering & Management

• A maximum of 2 years of work experience;

• Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in both Dutch and English;

• Affinity with ERP systems is an advantage.

Personal development is central to this traineeship. It challenges you to practice and develop your skills in problem-solving, communication, flexibility, and proactivity. In addition, we support you in developing the hard and soft skills needed to grow within your profession. You will be guided by the manager of your role, as well as a coach who will support you throughout the traineeship. The goal of this traineeship is to become a supply chain specialist.

Your responsibilities will further include:

• Inventory management by suppliers

• Managing escalations

• Production planning

• Optimizing existing workflows

• Supporting logistics concepts

• Maintaining control over our order flow

• Evaluating customer needs
