Vacancy: AIR CONDITION TECHNICIAN
REPORT TO: FACILITY COORDINATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Carry out regular servicing of air condition units, repair and ensure routine maintenance check of all cooling equipment within the building facilities.
2. Perform inspection, maintenance, repairs, and installation of air conditioning systems, including (FCU) fan coil unit drain line, cooling systems and related equipment.
3. Frequent cleaning of FCU filters, routine assessment of chilled water supply systems and replacing (AHU) air handling unit filter as at when due.
4. Identify all faulty cooling equipment, perform repairs on the systems and observe preventive maintenance for all HVAC systems.
5. Identify maintenance risks on equipment and coordinate efforts with the HVAC maintenance vendors to ensure all systems are functioning perfectly.
6. Monitor chilled water level and ensure an optimal performance of all AHU & chillers.
7. Respond to AC faults & related work, repair other maintenance tasks. Must be conversant with troubleshooting, repair & installation of split AC unit and refrigerator.
8. Provide assistance to other maintenance personnel and ensure proper daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
9. Monitor all air conditioning units and schedule maintenance for all heating and cooling units & keep records of all malfunctioning mechanical equipment.
10. Work from multiple locations, when required.
11. Perform ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time
Skills/Competencies
- Identifying the right tools and procedures for HVAC maintenance.
- Good intuitive & detail to attention.
- Conversant with modern & various types of cooling tower.
- Ability to work under pressure & provide assistance to other department.
- Communication and teamwork.
Requirements
- Min of NCE, OND Technical Vocational cert.
- Min of 5\-7 years working experience as a Air\-Condition Technician
