Job Description - Associate UI/UX Designer

Summary:
The Associate UI/UX Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of a next-generation telehealth platform integrated with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a user-centered mindset, and the ability to translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling digital experiences. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and medical professionals, the designer will contribute to the creation of seamless, efficient, and scalable interfaces that enhance patient engagement and clinical productivity. The work directly impacts the usability and success of critical digital health solutions, making this role essential to the platform’s overall effectiveness and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and understand the operational dynamics of Homnics, particularly within the context of digital health initiatives and product development.
  • Partner with product managers, software engineers, and clinical experts to gather insights and define user needs and workflows.
  • Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.
  • Create and refine prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and validate usability.
  • Continuously iterate on designs in response to feedback and shifting product requirements.
  • Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and deliver consistent, responsive experiences across devices and screen sizes.
  • Establish and maintain a design system by documenting UI patterns, interaction guidelines, and visual design best practices.
